I have been waiting for something like this for a long time.

I even thought of organising something similar, but I've seen too many good ideas gone rotten, because they needed time and preparation to do them well, and this is done extremely well.

This is the idea:

On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind - the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic. Our aim is to get everyone talking towards a better future.

It has a precise and realistic objective, it uses Web 2.0 as it should be used, no advertisement on the site, credits for all weblogs, promotional video, well-presented information on the website, clear and not too prolix, countdown, real time blogs counter... it's perfect, IMHO.

In will be there, and what about you?
