Not bad for citizen journalism - certainly not a futile example. There are a few things you could have done to improve it a little, but it works. I like the cutting with the beat of the music. As for the content - interesting, but not being into computers as much as you, I was lost a little.
BTW - Now that I hear you speak, I would agree that you don't have a terrible accent, but you do have an accent. If I had met you in person, not knowing anything about you, your name or where you are from and just basing my perception on your appearance and accent, I would have guessed you were German not Italian.

Well, the futile part was ironic ~_^
Thanks. Yes, there were a few things that I wanted to fix, but I wanted to finish it on that night, so eventually I gave up and accepted the video as it was.

That accent is kind of fake. I'm very much like a sponge, I tend to absorb the accent of he people who surround me. If I go to the UK, I would speak much more British than that, same goes for almost everywhere else, it's kind of funny 'cause I don't even realise it until I hear myself recorded!

I understand exactly what you mean. In the US we have very distinct accents or dialects depending on what part of the country you are from. I am from the Midwest and some may disagree, but I think we don't really have much of an accent compared to perhaps those living on the east coast in New York or Boston. Also having a very distinct accent are those from the south or otherwise known as the "Deep South" where they have a very think accent often referred to as a "Southern Twang" where each word seems to be drawn out and lengthened.
As an illustration of your experience - my brother was in the Air Force and was stationed in Florida (a southern state) and after being there for some time he started talking with a little bit of a southern accent. It didn't happen as quickly as I understand yours does and it disappeared very quickly once he moved back here after he was discharged.
Also, after looking at your most recent post - "Music Collaboration..." - I followed your link to "Revver" and your post on that site for - Linux 3D Desktop on Powerbook. If I follow your explanation about your accent, I would guess you were near Italian speaking people when you recorded that as you have an Italian accent that time including another American stereotype of an Italian adding the "ah" sound to each word. You say "Well this is a Linux box -ah". This is very interesting indeed. It would be neat to hear you talk after having been around English speaking people from the US - especially if you had a southern accent...mmm

LOL, in my collge days my best friend was from Philadelphia, so suring that time I had a pretty strong American accent, that quickly went disappearing.

It would be really interesting indeed, I'm looking forward to it. ^_^
