Great speech from Dennis Kucinich at the DNC
Submitted by Federico Pistono on Wed, 08/27/2008 - 10:32.Candidates, in most of political speeches, are careful about the words they use, they try not to speak too much of the truth in order not to make enemies, especially when talking about corporations, oil companies and speculators, which pretty much run the whole economy. Dennis Kucinich is different though.

Submitted by Federico Pistono on Mon, 08/13/2007 - 11:36.A pretty good video showing the incoherence and the lies of the Bush administration, particularly:
- George W. Bush
- Richard Bruce Cheney
- Condoleezza Rice
- Donald Henry Rumsfeld
- Alberto Gonzales
Know the truth about the war in Iraq
As Plato said: "Once you know the truth, you can't go back"
There's also a website aiming to impeach Bush and fellows.
I want my representative in the U.S. House of Representatives to vote to impeach President George W. Bush, Vice President Richard B. Cheney, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld, and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales for high crimes and misdemeanors, and to have the case prosecuted and tried in the U.S. Senate.
They've almost reached a million votes. Go democracy!
Ron Paul: The Web 2.0 candidate
Submitted by Federico Pistono on Tue, 07/17/2007 - 06:34.
I've been wanting to write a post about Ron Paul for a long time. Before I speak let us see a brief overview of his beliefs:
- He has never voted to raise taxes.
- He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
- He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
- He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
- He has never taken a government-paid junket.
- He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
- He voted against the Patriot Act.
- He voted against regulating the Internet.
- He voted against the Iraq war.
- He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program. He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
- Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.
Not only he's the most valid candidate in the 2008 US presidential elections, but he also gained extreme popularity among the internet community, yet ignored by the mainstream media. Why is that? Because he is not the typical candidate who would not speak in politician, but instead about real things, directly to people and attacking those topics that are considered uncomfortable.
