The news media popularity is falling like a stone, internet communications are on the rise, independent news channels provide daily insightful and accurate information, exposing lies, corruption and plans of the elite. Some people, for obvious reasons, don't like freedom. They don't like people capable of critical thinking, they don't like to see their plans exposed. They like to keep everyone worried about useless things, so that they have no time to think about what's really important. They take away our freedoms, day by day, little by little, with the silent compliance of the media.
