Silence is Sexy is the first Dutch rock band to release their complete new album this way. ‘This Ain’t Hollywood’ is a must-download if you are into bands like Radiohead, Editors, Coldplay and Interpol.

An increasing number of music producers see that giving away their content for free is the right way to build a fan-base. 00.Intro

June 28 2008, Milano, arena civica. Radiohead performing Reckoner from their last album In Rainbows. Awesome.

A while ago I covered the story of Radiohead, who wanted to free themselves from the evil clutches of record labels and the abominable empire of the music industry by releasing their album In Rainbows for free, leaving the choice to the people: pay as much as you want. The result of that experiments was apparently quite satisfactory, although some people paid, many others did not.

Sometimes I jam with my friends. Nothing serious, just for fun. We get together, we play. Nothing is static, nothing is prepared. Last time I recorded with my amateur equipment a couple of songs, we didn't really know what we were doing, we just started playing. You can clearly hear influence from Pink Floyd in 'ngroove and of Lynyrd Skynyrd in free jam, though it was not our intention in neither one of them.
