Federico Pistono

Sunday June 22nd 2008 Goerge Carlin, possibly the best comedian I've ever seen, left us. He was 71. Here's one of my favourite clips.

I will always remember his smart and acute dark comedy, sarcastic and intelligent, very critic of government and the paradoxes of our society. It will take a long time until we'll have somone like him again.

I'll miss you George.

I came across this old video only tonight, I was truly touched. It's impressive. The idea is so simple yet so powerful that amazes me. It all started with this great YouTuber, MadV, well known for his skills with "illusion trick", soon became a YouTube cultural icon.

Thanks to his popularity and a copious group of fans, he had the chance to start something meaningful, and he did.

It figures... many people thought it was too melodramatic. I think it's one of the most beautiful things I've seen on the internet.

He got 2,225 responses (up to March 30, 2007). Typically popular YT videos receive 7-10 responses. Then he uploaded one last video, a collection of the best responses he received.
