stupid laws in US

Remember when I said I love public libraries and how nobody bothers you? Well, not in America. A few days ago Steve was trying to convince me that if you are a good citizen and do nothing bad the U.S. is a nice place. Having seen from a distance the abuses by law enforcement and police brutality I was of course very skeptic.

Up until now nothing serious happened, beside my buddy a. being pulled over by the police for no reason at all, and then instigated to react on a non-existent crime just to take him to jail. It went something like this:

Here I am, back again, finally live blogging from Chicago. I took a day off from my daily activities and have some time to relax, blog and do some research. My original intention was to provide a kind of Chicago Chronicles while I was spending my time in the U.S., but the place where I am only offers, shall we say, a volatile connection. That interview may seem like an entertaining piece of tape, if she wasn't running for one of the highest seats in the USA. When you can't give an straight answer to a fair question about international affair, general politics, economics, geopolitics and you may be the new Vice President it becomes really scaring. This is were we cross the line between fair political and ideological differences and living a nightmare.
